The construction sector remains male dominated and a place where women are significantly under represented.
But there’s a young woman in Queanbeyan who is making huge strides to change all of that.
Taylor Perrin is a Commercial Project Manager and Estimator for Capital Veneering, one of the region’s largest commercial and residential joinery businesses in Queanbeyan.
She has also been selected as the face of YWCA Australia’s “Tradies For Women’s Safety” campaign.
She spoke with ABC Radio Canberra’s Adrienne Francis about what drives her to make a difference and also what inspired her to make a career in the construction sector.
