As case numbers continue to rise in Victoria, a major source of transmission has been linked to construction sites, prompting a vaccination and compliance crackdown on the industry.
Over the next week, 20,000 Pfizer appointments will be reserved for construction workers and authorised officers will ramp up enforcement checks at building sites.
